Revenue cycle management for independent practices

You went into medicine to see patients — not to chase claims.

Independent practices routinely lose 5–10% of earned revenue to denials, underpayments, and aging A/R. Allyra finds it, recovers it, and shows you exactly where every dollar stands — with owner-led service, fully remote-capable nationwide, and no long-term contract.

The review is free, takes your office manager about 10 minutes to gather two reports, and comes with an honest answer — even if that answer is "your billing looks solid."

How it starts

The free billing review

No obligation, no sales pressure — a straight answer about whether your practice is leaving money on the table.

We tell you exactly what to send

Before you pull anything, we send you a short checklist naming the exact reports we need — typically an A/R aging report and a denial or claims summary — with instructions for your system. About 10 minutes of work for your office manager, with no guesswork and no wasted pulls.

We analyze, you verify

Within a few business days you get a short written review: your denial rate, days in A/R, aging buckets, and an estimate of recoverable dollars — with the math shown, so you can check it.

You decide

If there's money to recover, we'll propose a plan and plain-language pricing. If your billing looks healthy, we'll say so and shake your hand. Either way, you keep the review.

Why practices choose Allyra

Big-company expertise. Small-company attention. Wherever your practice is.

Allyra was founded on 14+ years of hands-on revenue cycle experience — from the front desk to corporate RCM management. Our founder has done every job we sell, and that experience sets the standard for how all of our work is performed. We built Allyra for the practices national billing companies overlook: independent physicians and small groups who want a partner, not a takeover.

  • Founder-led accountability — a direct line to ownership, never a rotating account queue
  • Medicaid & commercial claims experience in 34 states, with deep AHCCCS fluency in Arizona
  • Reporting you can verify, not vague reassurance
  • We work within your existing systems — and if they can't support the reporting and tracking our standards require, we'll show you the gaps before anything changes
  • Month-to-month terms; we earn your business every month
  • Glendale-based with in-person meetings across the Valley, and secure remote service nationwide
"While other companies look to take over parts of your business, we look forward to working together with you. Your goals become ours."

Common questions

Straight answers before you ever call

How does pricing work?
Most billing engagements are priced as a percentage of collections — you pay based on what we actually collect for you, so our incentives match yours. Credentialing and consulting work is priced per project or package. You'll always see plain-language pricing in writing before anything starts, with no setup fees and no long-term lock-in.
Do we have to switch our EHR or billing software?
Our goal is always to integrate with the practice management and EHR systems you already use, and in most cases we can. What we won't do is work in a system that can't support the automation, reporting, and claim tracking needed to keep anything from slipping through the cracks — if we find gaps like that, we'll show you exactly what they are and walk through your options together. You'll never be forced into a switch; you'll just always know the honest state of your tools.
Is our patient data safe with you?
Yes. As a billing partner, Allyra is a HIPAA Business Associate: we sign a Business Associate Agreement before any patient information is exchanged, and we maintain documented privacy and security practices. Protected health information never appears in our marketing, reporting samples, or public materials.
We already have a biller. Can you still help?
Absolutely — that's often the best fit. Many practices don't want to outsource; they want their existing process reviewed, cleaned up, and strengthened. We offer process reviews, denial-pattern analysis, credentialing support, and staff workflow tune-ups alongside full-service billing.
What size practices do you work with?
Independent practices and small groups — typically solo physicians up to about ten providers. Most of our roots are in Arizona, but our services are fully remote-capable and we welcome practices nationwide, including referrals from CPAs and other advisors. If your practice is larger, reach out anyway; if we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you in a better direction.
