About Allyra

We've done every job we sell.

Fourteen years in medical revenue cycle — starting at the front desk and working up through corporate RCM management — taught us exactly where practices lose money, and exactly how to get it back.

The story behind Allyra

Allyra Medical Management started with a simple observation from inside the industry: the practices that need revenue cycle help the most — independent physicians and small groups — are the ones big billing companies serve the worst. They get the junior account rep, the offshore queue, the reports nobody explains.

We built Allyra to be the opposite. A company built by a founder who has worked every seat in the revenue cycle: front desk, charge entry, claims follow-up, denial appeals, credentialing, and corporate revenue cycle management. That path — entry level to executive, earned one role at a time — shapes how Allyra approaches every practice: we see the whole system, not just the claims. And as we grow, every person who works on your account is held to that same standard.

Your priority is the patient. Ours is you.

Founder, Allyra Medical Management

I'm Jess. Medicine has been the family business my whole life — my dad is a family nurse practitioner, my mom worked the hospital ICU floor — so I grew up knowing that behind every practice are real people carrying real burdens. I spent 14 years in medical revenue cycle, starting at the front desk and earning my way through every role up to corporate RCM management.

Along the way, I watched billing problems in smaller practices turn into blame and workplace politics instead of solutions — while the consultants who could help were priced for hospitals, not independent offices. Allyra is my answer to that: someone who comes in with an open mind, sticks to what the numbers and workflows actually show, and finds fixes that fit your budget. The part of this work I love hasn't changed since day one — finding the real issue, setting goals we can measure together, and watching a practice get genuinely better, month over month. More than anything, I want physicians to feel they have an ally: someone who understands that a practice is both a business with metrics to meet and a team of human beings, and that carrying both is a heavy load you shouldn't have to carry alone.

"To take the guesswork out of medical management and make the physician our priority — so they can focus on what matters most."
— Allyra's mission

Credentials & commitments

What stands behind the work

Experience

14+ years in medical RCM across every level — front desk through corporate revenue cycle management — with Medicaid and commercial claims experience in 34 states, spanning 20 specialties and care settings: family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, allergy & immunology, dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, audiology, neurology, nephrology, urgent care, rural health clinics, hospital-based physician (CMS-1500) claims, and DME billing for both vendors and payers.

Professional development

Actively pursuing industry certifications including AAPC's CPB (Certified Professional Biller), with NAMSS credentialing certification and MGMA board certification on the roadmap. This section will be updated as each is earned — transparency applies to us, too.

Compliance

HIPAA-compliant processes with a signed Business Associate Agreement before any patient information is exchanged. Protected health information never appears in our marketing or samples.

Arizona roots, nationwide reach

Based in Glendale. Built for independent practices everywhere.

We actually live here — which means real AHCCCS and Arizona payer knowledge, in-person meetings when you want them, and a genuine stake in this community. And because billing, credentialing, and reporting are fully remote-capable, practices outside Arizona get the same owner-led attention through secure, HIPAA-compliant channels. Many of our out-of-state relationships begin as referrals from CPAs and practice advisors who know our work.

  • Glendale-based, serving the West Valley, greater Phoenix — and practices nationwide
